Ph.D. Miodrag Mihaljević

Deputy Director of the Mathematical Institute, Serbian Academy of Sciences and Arts, & Head of the National Center for Cyber Security and Privacy

Miodrag J. Mihaljević received Ph.D. degree in 1990, and he is a Research Professor and Deputy Director at the Mathematical Institute, Serbian Academy of Sciences and Arts, Belgrade, as well as Head of the National Center for Cyber Security and Privacy.

His topics of expertise include cryptology (design and security evaluation of symmetric-key cryptographic primitives), certain elements of cyber security&privacy, and blockchain technology.

He has a long record of the national and international projects with academic, industrial and governmental institutions. He has/had extensive international collaboration with the institutions in Japan, US, EU, India and Singapore.  Dr. Mihaljević is an elected member (from the year 2014) of the Academia Europaea with the Headquarter in London, and recipient of the award of the Serbian Academy of Sciences and Arts for the ten-years scientific achievements (in the year 2013).
